Families can be together forever...

Travis' youngest brother Brandon went through the temple today...it was a very special day. 3 years to the date when we went for Danen. I love that kid. He's going to be a great missionary. Little does he know how much we will miss him.
Me, Brandon, Vicki, Travis and Brad.
Me and Travis. Lovey Dovey. :)

A day in the life...

Travis taking the kids on a dirtbike ride...usually it's the scooter, but Brandon's bike needed a quick start...They both love it and would spend all day on it. We are buying them helmets, don't worry! Pretty Kaylin all grown up! I'm still trying to grasp that she'll be a kindergartener this August!
Ah, the love these two have for baby Aidrian. I'd say she puts up with a lot! But they are very sweet to her...maybe loving on her too much?? The face says it all...She does have a new cry where she curls her little lip under--that's her sad cry.
Ethan loves dressing himself. Mostly it's any shirt he can reach, the same shorts from yesterday and in this case, none. Here he's sporting his belt and a superman cape.

3 little babies at 7 weeks old

Travis thought it would be fun to post all of our kids at the same age. So here they are, all 7 weeks old. It was so fun going back through their baby pictures...seeing the similarities and differences. They all have the cheeks tho! Not that the pink and blue don't give it away...but can you guess who is who?

Little Missy

Baby Aidrian is 7 weeks old now. She coos, smiles and blows tiny bubbles. Now she actually gives us reason to stare at her all day long, as if we don't have anything better to do! She is the cutest little thing!
Daddy and Aidrian Sunday afternoon.

Talking to mom...

Awake, alert and happy. She's such a sweet baby, just looks around happily until she's tired, she'll let out some yelps for me to come and wrap her. My cousin Rachel made the quilt that's under her. Isn't it pretty!?
Aidrian having some tummy time...but of course it's never alone, Ethan is always next to her. He's getting better at not yelling in her face, but he sure wants to play with her!

Remembering Danen

Today, 3 years ago, Travis' brother Danen passed away. Every year we gather at the place he died with friends and family for a BBQ, listen to his dad's testimony, reflect on Danen's life giving a moment of silence in respect. He is gone from this world, but we know he still lives! We miss him very much. I love this picture...Kaylin is almost one. When we came to visit, Danen walked around with her all through the house. She loved him!
This was at my first family reunion with the Clarkes. Danen and Brandon were our little shadows the whole time...we had bubble gum wars, tried making towers in the water with Travis on bottom, then Danen, then me...and built sand drip castles.
I love this picture too. Danen has the white blonde hair and the other boy is Travis when he was around 12 yrs old.

4th of July--Part 1

THE PEACHTREE PARADE
We took Brad and Vicki's golf cart down to the heart of Peachtree City for the Parade. Above is at our spot! The kids got loads of candy. Kaylin learned that the more you wave and smile, the more candy they throw! She was quick to catch the candy, but also quick to share with Ethan and Savannah who were next to her...and not as quick. :)

Aidrian was awake and alert at first, it was cooler in the morning and she loved looking around. Above, she's showing her muscles! ;) Below is Kaylin and Savannah waiting for the parade to start. Isn't she so patriotic?! (she picked out all her decor for her b-day...)

My cousin Rachel and her cute fam (Jason, Brighton and Abigail) came down to spend the weekend with us! We had a blast with them!

Brighton, Kaylin, Savannah and Ethan in the 4th of July spirit!

4th of July--Part 2

BIRTHDAY GIRL!Kaylin Marie is now 5 years old!!! So crazy to think! I look at Aidrian and can't believe just 5 short years ago, Kaylin was as tiny as her. (probably tinier!)
We had a fun little birthday gathering. Rachel and her fam were with us, as well as Mom and Dad, Angie and her cute friend Autumn joining us at the Butlers house, also celebrating our friend Jeff's birthday with his brother's fam too. It was one full house, but we had a great time. Had a yummy BBQ, cupcakes for the birthdayers and swimming all afternoon.
I'd say she was one happy birthday girl!

4th of July--Part 3

PARTY TIME
I thought this was a cute picture of Aidrian. Yes, she does always look a little worried, that's her classic look. But it's a cute one regardless!
Mom and Angie....
Ang got her goggles for the pool now that she's a fish and swims pretty well these days. She was very excited!
Lily decorating herself with a wrapping paper bow all decked out for the 4th of July!
Travis doing a trick called a gainer. The pool was so refreshing and nice to have a private pool. Thanks Butlers!

4th of July--Part 4

CELEBRATION!!
Brad and Vicki (Travis' parents) live right on Lake Peachtree and their neighbors have a great grassy backyard that goes right up to the lake. Just over to our left is where they light off the fireworks. It's really amazing!!!
Here we are on our spot waiting for it to get dark.
(Jason, Brighton, Rachel, Ethan, Kaylin and Brittany)
Baby Abby waiving her flag!
My girls and I sharing a spot excited for the show to start!
Aidrian was awake at first and would blink at every firework. She got hungry so she soon fell asleep for the rest of the show. Ethan had fallen asleep even before the show started! And he stayed that way all night! Kaylin loved the show! She'd clap and yell "Whooo" when she liked one. We talked about the colors and different sounds they make.
Earlier this week we talked about how the 4th of July is also America's birthday. When we went to Chick Fil-A to eat they had flags and red flowers on each table. She said, "Do they know it's my birthday?" So I told her a little bit about America's birthday...and after my wonderful explanation, she sees an Army officer sitting across from us and saw he had a flag on his uniform and exclaimed, "Does he know it's my birthday too?" Apparently my explanation went right over her head! I guess she'll think the fireworks are just for her this year!

American Adventures!

So Thursday we went up North to a fun theme park for younger kids with my mom and friend Melanie and her son Nash who is Kaylin's age. (but both kids love him!) We had a great time! My mom and I were soooo glad Melanie was there so she could ride on the dizzy rides with the kids! At one point they wanted to go on it 3 times in row! What a good sport! Ethan was only too short for one ride. The one ride he was dying to go on. He was one sad little guy. :(
Kaylin loved the rollercoaster, she would hold her arms up and scream. She said to my mom, "Grandma I can scream for fun!" She loved mostly the dizzy rides and the slide. I swear she could handle anything! Ethan loved the train, semi-trucks and airplane. My favorite was the rollercoaster --explaining the picture of my scrunched up face passing by on the coaster, I was laughing so hard at Ethan glued to my side! I have a disclaimer on the last pic: I hit my elbow during my race with Melanie. I think it's the funniest picture! Had to save the best for last!
