Spring Break - Hilton Head - The Beach!!!

We headed out to Hilton Head for the weekend! It was gorgeous weather and the beach was perfect for the kids. We went with our friends the Anthony's who had kids the same ages as ours. They got along so well. We had such a great time. The only problem was that it was too short!! I think we are all wishing we were still there...

I absolutely love this picture. This kiss went on for minutes, she gives the best kisses!!

I've wanted to just sit and veg on the beach for a loooong time now. It was SO nice just to soak up the sun and watch the kids play in the water with their daddy. It was also nice to have friends to talk to while I did some R&R :)

Not a fan of maternity suits, but this one was super comfy so I embraced it :) 

I swear he's the cutest dad in the world. He'd pull the kids on boogie boards, help Ethan skim board, take Kaylin out to sea and build castles and mermaids with his girls. All in all, everyone was happy.

There were 2 tidepools when the tide was out and it was perfect for skim boarding and little refreshing dips when it got too hot for those of us who don't appreciate the waves...

Ethan is practicing for wakeboarding this summer on the skim board. He is getting good!

He also enjoyed his dump truck, here he's pushing his friend Ethan, we call him E-Man. :) They had such a great time together. I have a million pics of them playing...

Travis has been running at night, but since we were on vacation he skipped. :) I'd say he still got efficient excercise....

 When Kaylin wasn't in the water, she loved relaxing in the sun. 

A few times we saw some dolphins. Kaylin was way out with her dad and a bottlenose swam right past! 

Mika enjoyed the boogie boards too, but when they got close to the waves, she bailed. It was so funny. She's still my cautious worrier. :)

She loved the tide pools best. She decided to put her head in the water for some reason. It was so funny!!!

 When she was really brave she'd jump the waves with mom--note it was with mom because I pretty much went as far as she would go...
