Ethan

Ethan is the funniest little toddler. He has so much character and personality. He's always keeping us on our toes and adds a fun spark in life. He is 18 months old going on 3...
He loves wearing mommy's shoes. It's hilarious. He goes around the whole house clomping in my high heels. He loves wearing Kaylin's shoes too, but she isn't as tolerant as mom.

He is such a sweet boy, with a sweet sensitive heart. But he is full of energy and loudness!

Cousins

We've had lots of fun visits this summer! The kids loved seeing their cousins and I loved seeing their parents. We did a lot of fun things around Altanta, went to the lake and just hung out at Grandma's and our house too.

Kaylin

Here's a pic of the cutest kids ever!
Kaylin is growing up so fast! She is such a sweet, fun girl. Right now she enjoys going to Preschool and Gymnastics. She is very social and craves the interaction.

Father's Day

Grandpa Sharp came over for Father's Day dinner and so did Angie and Andrew. We had yummy steak tacos and raspberry cake for dessert!

The kids were very good to their daddy. Kaylin colored a pretty picture with animals and they gave him a figurine with parents and a baby.

Brittany's Birthday

So I just turned 25. I had a great birthday, spending it with Travis and our good friends on Saturday night. My real b-day was on Father's Day this year, so I really wanted to do something Saturday so Sunday could be reserved just for Travis and my dad and Brad. But it turned out Travis and Angie still made the day cute for me and it was perfect.

Memorial Day

We went camping for Memorial Day Weekend at Lake Wedowee in Alabama. We went with Travis' family--every sibling was there--Danen probably was too! Uncle Daune's family came too as well as the Boots, Gardners and Purdy's. Other people from church came through out the weekend too. We had a blast! Kaylin loved being with all her aunts and would do almost everything with them! She loved swimming and wading in the water and by the 2nd day she dind't want any floaties. We took her out tubing one day and she loved it. She also liked boat rides and the campfire. Ethan loved being glued to his daddy's hip and spent most of his time on the boat (where his daddy spent most of his time too) He loved steering the boat. It was so cute! He loved sleeping all together in the tent, follwing Wyatt the dog and went on a tube ride as well! He loved the bumps while tubing, but hated the waves when he was int he water.
Travis loved going wakeboarding, land-locking and tubing (although he always gets hurt on the extreme tube rides) He also tried Kite Tubing.
I loved being in the sun, riding on the boat and even took ocassional dips. I love campfires and staying up late talking with family. I love roasting marshmallows too!
We stayed for 3 days and by the end of the 3rd day me and the kids were more than ready to go home to a nice clean bath and a comfy bed.

Washington D.C.

We went to Washington D.C. to visit Aunt Meagan. We had so much fun!
We toured DC one day and went to the zoo another. Meagan has a great townhome in a really good area. I also helped her decorate her bedroom and saw all her fun treasures from her trip to New Zealand. Kaylin loves Aunt Meagan almost as much as Ethan! She is their favorite!!

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter this year! We went to Grandma Sharps house for a Easter Egg Hunt. Although it was so hot, all the chocolate melted within 5 minutes! Kaylin had a blast! She ran to her basket every time she found something.

After we spent time being with Grandma and Grandpa Sharp and Angie and Andew came over too! It was so fun to see them all! We also talked on the phone to all the family that was far away. We love holidays--it's an excuse to keep in touch!Grandma also made a yummy ham and we enjoyed the food so much!

Ethan's Birthday!

Ethan Chase is ONE! Above: His blue birthday cake! He danced during the Birthday song. I helped him blow out his candle, while Kayin helped him dig in to the cake! He liked it, but not as much as Kaylin! Below: Sitting in his new Spiderman Chair! He thinks he's king of the world when he sits in it! Always a happy face!
Below: Riding his new 3-wheel bike from Grandma Sharp. He loved just sitting on it. He doesn't want anyone else to! What a cute boy!
Below: Party Time! Kaylin sharing Ethan's new toys. :) Ethan loves tools and would be completely satisfied with a scredriver in his hand at all times. He uses his tools on any other toy, fixing them. He also got a tool bench!
Below: Birthday cake detroyed. Mission completed. Happy Birthday Ethan!!

Growing Kids

A walking Ethan! Beloved Strawberry Glasses
Attempting family pics!
playing on the patio
Ethan's classic look

Ethan turned one on March 1st! I cannot believe it has been a year since he came into our family! He just went to the doctor and even though I think he is so stocky and filled out, he's only 20 lbs!! (putting him in the 25% tile) He did so well with his shots. He walks around like he owns the world. Chatting away, saying a few words like Up, Uh-Oh, Mama, Dada, no-no and trying to say Light. He is such a fun-loving little boy with a heart of gold.
Kaylin is as hilarious as ever. She tests me constantly, but will always listen in the end. She has a new love for "cinderella the princess" and is learning to be potty trained, although it's been a struggle. I learn patience more than I want to and have found the greatest joy in sleeping. (maybe that's why you sleep so much as a teenager, for once those days are over, you never get that much sleep again until all your kids have left the house!--oh no, that means it's just beginning for me!) I'll send pics of Ethan's birthday bash next!

Monkey Joes

We went to Monkey Joes with Grandma Sharp on a rainy and gloomy day. There were about 10 different slides and moonwalks. It was so fun! (even for me and Grandma--since there were only a few other kids, we got to go down the slides too!) I'd jump right before we went down to get some extra air, it would take Kaylin's breath away! One time I went by myself after the kids went down and I jumped a little too high and almost did a flip down. Kaylin was in heaven and one of her friends came too, so she kept pretty busy. Afterwards, she was so tired she could hardly talk! Ethan was so nervous on the unstable blow ups and would say "ooh ooh ooh" with every step until he got to me. But then we put him down a slide and he'd clap at the bottom--there was no stopping him now!
