A Very Merry UnBirthday...

Since Kaylin has a summer birthday, her class wanted to celebrate her "un-birthday" today! I dressed her up in her 4th of July clothes and told her to tell the teachers to guess when her birthday was, but she was so excited she'd just tell everybody. I met her for lunch and brought some treats and goodies for her class after they ate. She wore a cute crown and could pass all the goodie bags out to all her classmates by reading their names.
I had to take a picture of this spunky little girlie. She is so funny, happy, bouncy, sweet, honest, silly and loving. So if you didn't guess...her birthday is the 4th of July. She'll be turning SIX!!!!

That's so nice that the teachers are willing to do that for their students. When I was a kid, the summer birthday kids were just outta luck.
My dad's birthday is the 4th of July, too. When he was little, he thought the parade and fireworks were just for him. His grandpa used to call him his little firecracker.

What a beautiful girl! She is so wonderful! I would be interested to see pictures of you at her age. Doesn't she look like a little Brittany. How fun that her class celebrated her b-day early!
